WHAT IS IT?
The Feldenkrais work is a scientifically based practical method, providing a code of communication between the brain and body, turning potential into action through the synthesis of movement and cognitive awareness.

WHO IS IT FOR?
The Feldenkrais Method is for anyone and everyone who wants to maximize their own potential and wants to implement their rightful abilities by using their connections of thought and action. Thousands of people have changed their lives through this empowering method, from challenged and injured to famous performers and athletes.

WHAT HAPPENS?
You bring a blanket with you and comfortable clothing. Many of the lessons are done lying down; there is no strain on the body or pressure to perform – in fact quite the opposite. Each lesson takes about forty five minutes and is called an ATM (Awareness Through Movement). You will find new ways of moving and rediscover old ways lost perhaps through injury or age. After an ATM your mind having experienced the new patterns of movement will choose to use them where required in your life. It is very subtle and quite a pleasure.

WHEN AND WHERE?
There are two classes every other week (bi weekly) –The day time lesson is at Bingham on a Monday from 2 to 2.45pm. The evening session is at Southwell from 6.30 to 7.15pm.
